I woke up today on a mission. It wasn’t a good well thought out or well planned mission, but it was a mission nonetheless.
My Goal: Take photos using my camera.
At first glance, this would seem like a small thing to do, but for me it was far from that. First, I’ve had my camera for two years and have yet to seriously attempt to photograph myself. Secondly, I’ve been battling insecurity for about the same length of time that I’ve had my camera. Not to mention, I am extremely critical. However, today I wanted to shove all my excuses to the side and simply try.
The best way to learn how to do something is to do it.
Now, the photos didn’t come out exactly how I’d pictured but I think that’s due to poor planning, because they aren’t terrible or unusable.
So, I’ll try again, & again, & again, & again until I begin to produce the quality I am aiming for.
