Following your dreams and trusting in a God we’ve never seen requires an amount of faith that is truly unfathomable to some. Think about it, we literally have to let go of everything that seems “right” and “logical” and fully wholeheartedly walk by faith. Will I be remembered for being somebody who claimed to know God but would be forgotten or Would I be one of those people who was crazy enough to live their life in faith out on a limb?
It’s great that we talk about Abraham and David but will they ever say anything about you?
Will your kids be able to say “my mother/father was a woman/man of faith”?
Will your coworkers be able to say my friend was a person of faith?
Most believers don’t live their life on a limb. We live our lives safe and we never get to see the full promise of God
Noah was crazy
He wasn’t a trained boat builder
Off of instruction from God he quit his occupation, enlisted his kids and there had never been a drop of rain
Noah built something that had never been seen, and no one believed him until it started raining
It was crazy when he started doing it. It was faith when it started raining
What’s crazy in one season, will be counted as faith in another
We always think it’s faith to leave something, sometimes it takes faith to stay in it
Crazy means: not mentally sound . It means marked by thought or action that lacks reason.
Synonyms are: insane, impractical, erratic, out of the ordinary, unusual
Crazy is something that has no reason
When you follow God, some of the things He will ask you to do will seem crazy
You are believing in a God that you have never seen. To someone who doesn’t believe like that, they think that is crazy
To give 10% of your income to a Church, saying that it’s going to God, someone who is trusting in their own way would say that : is crazy
The crazy thing about crazy things is that there are things we believe in that no one can explain either: “I can’t see God” You can’t see wind, but you feel it,
How can we believe in one thing we can’t see and trust in it, but the thing that created the thing, we can’t trust in?
If you are going to follow Jesus there will be things that are required that seem absolutely crazy.
Faith means: trusting in something you can not explicitly prove
Too many people in this google age, only believe things they can prove without a doubt
Many times, the facts that we want erode the faith that we need
God either shows you the path and not the mountain top or the mountain top and not the path
Crazy Faith: thoughts and actions that lack reason but trusting fully in what you can not prove
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. '
It’s not faith if you can see it, and it’s not faith if it was not once a hope
One of the enemies greatest tactics over your life is to discourage you so that you don’t hope anymore
If you don’t hope you have now taken away the gasoline for faith, because faith is the confidence in what we hope for
If there is nothing to hope for I don’t have faith
Hoping is free
Whatever you are hoping for, you are building confidence in
If you need a healing start hoping for it again
There is a difference between saying you have faith and actually living out faith
Faith Formula: intellectual agreement + trust = faith
Intellectual agreement is believing something to be true
Trust is actually relying on the fact that something is true
If you don’t intellectually agree and put your weight on it you don’t actually have faith in it
God never needs you to protect His reputation
You lose nothing in fully believing and fully putting your weight on God
Being in the will of God is closer to a safe landing than being higher in a thing that seems like it will hold us up
Some of us are high and mighty in our own plan, and God says “If you would just sit in the thing that makes you a little less stable, that makes you have to trust a little more”
When you start trusting the plan of God and you walk in faith he will allow you to sit in things that were designed for him to get glory
Faith is not just believing God can, faith is trusting and believing that God will.
You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder. ' James 2:19
What happens when their are church people and they have the same Faith level as demons? Demons believe that Jesus can save, demons believe that people can be healed. But you do not get to experience it unless you put your weight on it.

2. Faith is not a foundation, Faith is the foundation.
You can’t do anything without faith
Most of us don’t pray. Because when you know something is yours and you know something is on the other side of something and you don’t get an answer the first time you come back to that thing. Most of us pray one time and say “well I guess God didn’t want to do it” YOU DIDN’T PRAY YOU WISHED.
You can not live the abundant Christian life that is promised to us according to John 10:10 without Faith.
Faith is confidence in who God is, and then it’s hope for… What do you need to start hoping for again? Faith is assurance about, it’s only faith if you put trust in Him (Job)
